Pleasantville - Burton

For our first assignment in my Photography and Digital Media class, we explored the "Pleasantville" effect. We had to use six of our own photos.

The effect is named so because it originated in the movie, "Pleasantville." According to my teacher (I've never seen the movie), the movie is entirely in black and white until a woman's lips turn red... or something like that. :/

I took this photo at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City when I went last year to see Tim Burton's show. It was in the main lobby.

I played around with the contrast on this one to make it all glowy. :3
